Overview
The 5 Devi Yatra is a 7-day pilgrimage from Mumbai through the sacred Devi temples of the Himachal foothills. Flying into Chandigarh, the yatra covers darshan at five revered shrines - Naini Devi (with its ropeway ride), Chintpurni Mata, Jwalaji, Kangra Devi and Chamunda Devi.
Between temple visits there is time to soak in the region: Kangra Fort, Bhagsu Waterfall, the Tibetan monasteries and the Dalai Lama's residence at Dharamshala, the famous cricket stadium, and Chandigarh's Rock Garden with boating at Pinjor Lake. Stays are arranged at the Clarion Inn in Chandigarh, JMC Hotel in Chintpurni and Anand Palace in Dharamshala, with Innova travel and daily breakfast and dinner included.
